Poor Baby!

As you all know Chris had surgery on his mouth. We started getting into this a while ago but just barely got it done. We never thought it would be so horrible as we had planned. Friday, February 28Th we went into Primary Children's Hospital at 6:00 AM, left our home at 5:00 AM, oh ya not to mention the day before they told us that he had to do some blood work and the only place we could get it done was at Primary Children's so we went down there at 6:00 PM and got home around 8:00 PM, then our great Bishopric came and have Chris a wonderful blessing, that we appreciate so deeply. So at the Hospital we did all the paper work then when it was time for Chris to get the IV injected into his arm, Yup I stepped out. That is the worst thing in the whole wide world. Just the sight of needles gives me a heebi geebies! Then we went into another room where the Doctors came and talked to us. One great new the Doctor told us was that he didn't have to break Chris's bottom jaw. We were so thrilled! Because that means more food for Bud to eat and not having it wired shut. Well Chris went into to surgery at 7:30 AM and me I sat with all the other parents in the waiting room and watched them come in and out as the day went on. Texting to everyone every two hours after I got the update from the nurse saying how Chris is doing. Then I got the news at 2:00 PM that the surgery went well and that I will be able to see him in about 45 torturous minutes.

When I finally saw him he looked so sad, and helpless, and there was nothing I could do along with the other 4 days we were there. The fluids were the worst. He had the worst stomach aches and felt so nausiated that made him even weaker also the tube in his nose that irritated him so. I was so heart broken and frustrated because I couldn't do anything to make it go away. After all the annoying nurses and the Cafateria food and sleeping on that hard chair bed, Bud made himself a little stronger just so he could get home. On Tuesday, March 4Th in the after noon we were on our way home. I could already see the improvement right when we got home.

Its been 4 days since he has been home and the nausia has gone away, he has eaten more and is a lot happier.

We like to thank everyone who has helped us through this rough time. We love everyone of you guys.

The first time I saw him. :(

When we got home, and still looking better everyday.
